This is by far the best and most wholesome men’s blog out there, and I think one of the most serious. Many of us swear by it; I know it changed my life, for sure. The archive is particularly rich between about 2011 and 2017, with innumerable articles on practical philosophy, good skills and etiquette, why to have adventures, exercise and health tips, and all the rest, culled and adapted from the manliest commentary of the past couple of centuries. My single biggest piece of advice to young people: WORK AT PHILMONT! There is no better way a young person, in college or recently graduated or even later, can use their summer than this, being out under the New Mexico sky inspiring the young to lives of adventure and reminding the old of the worlds they forgot, and living in a way that encapsulates the spirits of Scouting at their finest. I wish I had done it more than I did.

America’s largest fully red-blue volunteer-led national civic organization dedicated to holding Americans together across every political, ideological, and cultural divide. I had the great honor to walk with Braver Angels for seven years, and it was the most important single experience of my public and professional life thus far. It is a beacon of wholesome hope in an angry and hateful American politics, and a refuge for those who want to believe another politics is possible. Go find what is happening near you, and hop on in!
